We hopped on a bus ride to Galway. The countryside was beautiful, reminding me a lot of home. We saw people dressed in green, looking like leprechauns, wearing Irish flags, clearly getting ready to Par-tay. After fighting with my eyes to stay open, my sleep one and I passed out for a while. The few times I awoke we were passing through lovely, quaint, little towns. It really looked like how you would imagine it.
When we got to Galway, we dropped our stuff off at the hotel and set off in the direction of food and drinks. We encountered so many people having a good time. We asked where they recommended us to eat and everyone said McD's.... everything was closed and only serving alcohol. Don't worry... we weren't having that. We found a pizza place much like flying pizza and had a slice of pizza the size of my face. It was glorious. If we had bought an entire pizza and sold it on the street, we would have started a business, everyone was looking to get some of that za.
Across the way, a place called The Front Door was calling our name and so we headed on in. A few Balmers and beers later, we headed on to a different venue... but let me seriously tell you that we met the best people in Ireland. Everyone, everyone, I tell you was fantastically nice. St. Patrick's day was a lot of fun, but honestly it was like any other night out... It is celebrated just as fiercely in the states but the novelty of being in Ireland, where it is a national holiday made it THAT much cooler. We painted the town until the bars closed and crashed into bed.

The next morning we had a prearranged tour... but not before getting our breakfast. You know me and my breakfast, it recently has become my most favorite meal of the day. There is just something about the morning, that cup of coffee, and an awesome plate of food in front of me. Mmmm I love it. Anywho, the bus driver picked us up and took us to the bus station. It was one of two places, but we weren't sure where they were taking us first. We soon found out it was to the cliffs of Moher... little did we know what we were getting ourselves into.

get over the blurry spots.. it was raining.
it was BEAUTIFUL!! beautiful. These cliffs have been featured in countless films, including but not limited to Harry Potter 7. They did not disappoint. Of course, me and my safety nerd ways were not having how close some people wanted to get to the edge.. but I tried to keep calm and we got pretty close. There was a sign, asking visitors to vote to make it one of the new 7 wonders of the world... so who knows, maybe i will get to say that I have seen a wonder?

we even climbed to the top top of the tower and jumped up on the lookout point to get the best view possible.. as if you couldn't tell.. its a bit windy. :)
We saw so many cool and beautiful things on this bus tour. Our driver was a character.. CHARACTER in capital letters. He was so thrilled about seeing the rabbits.. stopping at every field, reversing the bus at 60 mph, giggling like a school girl when one was spotted. I swear we sat near a field for 10 minutes trying to decipher whether a brown spot in the field was a rabbit or a rock. Funny. We also saw many baby lambs.. so cute. He was like Lamb Alert.. Lamb alert. Here on your right, you will see a newborn lamb just jumping in the field. We saw Alpacas, yes the native to Peru is now being bred in Ireland, and ponies.

After the previous night and a long day of touring, we were in need of a low key night. We headed to dinner of fish and chips and then back to the hotel... where we brainstormed on how to accomplish our next feat of biking across the continental USA to raise money for education.... ?? any takers? hehe.
.... still looking for those leprechauns.
