blogging with the sis

Leslie and I are just sitting in the backyard on our first saturday off ALLLLL summer, enjoying the day... and we actually love summer! There is just so much to enjoy about summer:

1) lemonade in your bathing suit by the pool

2)a good book in the hammock that you cant quite finish because your eyes close without fail.

3)storm clouds threatening to put you inside

4) new freckles and some weird tan lines

5) the way the grass tickles your toes

6) how jack johnson and bob marley can fit any mood you may possible have and totally evoke summer loving

7) the way heat makes you crave chips and guac with a tall margarita and some really good friends

8) the smell of sunscreen and coconut everywhere you go.

the list seriously could go on forever. Summmer is my favorite, and i keep punishing myself by spending it indoors working... its ok though, its only temporary and someday i will be able to enjoy it leisurely... maybe, hopefully.
